Satellite Nominations are here...

There is no denying that these things are a joke.  I mean, wasn't it last year that they didn't nominate Daniel Day-Lewis only to turn around and hand him the win?  They make so many mistakes, post the wrong nominees, change their minds and then nominate everyone in contention.  This year is no different.  There are pretty much eight nominees in every field and they still managed to nominate people without a shot at Oscar (sorry Emily Watson) and snub actors with a decent shot (Gandolfini!!!!) but these are fun to laugh at so...

I'll be adding these to the Awards Tally page soon.  It's in need of a revamp anyways.

  1. JAKE. GYLLENHAAL. Let the campaign continue! :)

I always love the random nominees. Casey Affleck's nod is kind of awesome. If I had to predict my nominees, including films unseen, he'd make my Supporting Actor lineup. Hope he delivers.

    1. I thought you'd like that. LOL, did you see the remarks about how they didn't even see The Wolf of Wall Street yet nominated it five times!?!?! I mean, these have always been a joke, but seriously, that is hilarious!
