Fisti Awards Update...

The 1992 Fisti Awards are underway.  I've got the first three big awards up for viewing over on the 90's Fisti page.  Best Picture, Director and Film Editing are the three posted.  Feel free to comment here on what you think!  What did I get right or wrong?  What films make up your top 5?  Who did I snub?  I'll have more up soon.  I'll be trying to finish the year off this week, but I can't promise it.

  1. Woah, cool top 5! I still haven't seen Death Becomes Her, so I need to get on that. And I need to rewatch Bram Stoker's Dracula and The Crying Game.

I'm behind on this year, but my top 10 at the moment looks like this:

    1. Reservoir Dogs (Quentin Tarantino)
    2. Husbands and Wives (Woody Allen)
    3. Glengarry Glen Ross (James Foley)
    4. Unforgiven (Clint Eastwood)
    5. Malcolm X (Spike Lee)
    6. The Last of the Mohicans (Michael Mann)
    7. Enchanted April (Mike Newell)
    8. The Player (Robert Altman)
    9. The Crying Game (Neil Jordan)
    10. Shadows and Fog (Woody Allen)

    1. While I'm not a real fan of Glengarry Glen Ross, Enchanted April and The Last of the Mohicans, I love the rest of your list! See Death Becomes Her! It's WONDERFUL!!!! 1992 is one of my favorite years in film. There were so many films that didn't make my top 12 that I really, really wanted to list!
