Boston predicts the Oscars!

I've been swamped with work the past couple days, and so my plans of getting up an Awards Tally page have been delayed.  Still, only three critics circles have announced winners, so I'm good so far.  The Boston Online Film Critics Association (not to be confused with the Boston Society of Film Critics, who announce later today) predicted the Oscars the other day.  Here are their wins.

Zero Dark Thirty continues its climb to the top.  I'm happy to see Anne awarded here.  She's taking the Oscar regardless (seriously people, don't doubt it) but it's nice to see her getting her due.  Oslo, August 31st is one of my favorite films of the year, so YAY!  Also, the ensemble mention for Moonrise Kingdom is totally deserved.

All in all, these are pretty decent.  I have yet to see Zero Dark Thirty and Lincoln (the two films closest to the crown of Best Picture at this point) but I plan on it soon.

Later today we'll get Boston and LAFCA.  Washington and the Sats announced their nominees, but I'll wait on their winners before factoring them into the state of the game.  It's just easier that way.  I'll probably update tomorrow, since my afternoon is packed and I don't know if I'll get to my computer later today.
